What are the goals of the G-Con Standard?
The purpose of defining an international gearbox standard is to facilitate the following:

To allow for all bicycle manufacturers to build and design bicycles based around the bicycle gearboxx, without actually having to invent the bicycle gearboxx technology itself.

To allow transmission manufacturers to develop and build a system that can be utilized by any bicycle frame manufacturer.
Our goal for the consumer is to build and develop a drivetrain where wear and tear as well as overall maintenance is kept to an absolute minimum. Bicycle frame manufacturers on the other hand are free to develop and design their own proprietary frames around the bicycle gearboxx.
Cutting Edge:
The overall goal is to continuously develop and improve the bicycle gearboxx system and its transmission so that bicycles based around the G-Con standard will be comparable in weight as well as price with their conventional derailleur based drivetrains. |
